Amazon has recently announced their latest model for streaming television at home, known as the “Amazon Fire TV”. What makes this latest offering different from both Apple TV and Google Chromecast is the ability to stream media in 4K. For more info on 4K, click here.

With the ability to stream 4K, it certainly differentiates Amazon’s device in the marketplace. Just remember, that in order to properly use the 4K option, your TV needs to be able to display the ultra high definition resolution. The system also comes with a voice enabled remote, allowing you to use spoken commands to use the system. The Amazon Fire TV is available for pre-order, at US $100, and will be released on October 5.
