Product Spotlight: OnKöl Hub

With technology evolving to seamlessly fit in our day to day lives, we're increasingly seeing smart devices being developed to make our lives easier. Now a company out of the US is focusing on creating a device that will help the elderly stay connected to their family, no matter the physical distance between them. The company and the product are called OnKöl. The OnKöl hub touts, among other capabilities, to connect wirelessly to devices such as blood pressure monitors and home security systems and share data with family members by text and email. It even allows for medication reminders and can raise an alarm in the event of an emergency.

While not yet available for purchase, the device caught a lot of attention at the Consumer Electronics Show this year, taking out a 2015 CES Editor's Choice Award.
