Highlights from Google’s media event

Google held their media event on September 29 2015, and here are the key points that you should know: 

1. The Nexus 6P was confirmed, and is considered to be Google’s Premium model smartphone. Google also claims that it can charge twice as fast than the iPhone 6 Plus. This comes in at US $499. It is available for preorder now. 
2. The second smartphone, the Nexus 5X was revealed, and is viewed as a more reasonable pricing, at US $379. Like the 6P, the 5X is also available for preorder now.
3. The new Android OS, Marshmellow, comes out next week, and will be available to Nexus phones first, then gradually released to other Android phones.
4. An improved Chromecast was announced, which will enable streaming to your TV set far easier, at US $35.
5. Google announced their own tablet “The Pixel C”. This is a 10.2 inch tablet, with a detachable keyboard, and has a reasonable price of US $499.
