How to Resize MacBook Dock
The Apple Doc on a MacBook works as an application launcher, but sometimes it can be too big or small. Fortunately there are 2 easy methods you can use to resize the Doc on your MacBook, which most people might not know about. here is how.
Resize using the mouse pointer
Here is the quick and easy method.
on your desktop, hover your mouse over the vertical divider of your Doc (located between the apps, file shortcut and Trash area)
in the right spot, move tour mouse and it will change into a resize up/down arrow.
once your mouse has changed symbol to the up/down arrow, you can drag your pointer to and from the edge of the screen to change the doc size.
by moving it closer to the Edge, the dock will shrink, and by moving it away from the edge screen, it will increase.
both can be applied to the maximum and the minimum respectively.
once you’re done, just release the mouse and the dock preferences will be applied.
Resize Dock via System Preferences
You might prefer to change your doc size using the traditional method, known as System Preferences
to open Dock Preferences, right click in an empty area of the dock near the diver line > select “Dock Preferences”.
within the Dock Preferences menu, you will see a Size bar. You can adjust as needed until you’re satisfied. Once done, close the dock preferences menu and your set.
